Profile
Born in Kyoto in 1956, Prof. Oda completed the Doctoral Course in Fine Arts at Kyoto City University of Arts. After teaching at KCUA and other art universities in Japan, he became the dean of the International Academy of Media Arts and Sciences (IAMAS, Gifu). While primarily a painter, he has been expanding and combining his artistic activities in the field of visual art since the 1990s, to include works incorporating CG animation, illustration and graphic design.
